Today we’re going to worship the LORD together

The Spirit of the LORD is on me
Anointing me to preach
Glad tidings to the meek
And to bind up the brokenhearted
To proclaim liberty to the captives
Release to the prisoners
(v2)For this is the acceptable year of the LORD

He gave me beauty for ashes
The oil of joy for mourning
The garments of praise for the spirit of heaviness
That we might be trees of righteousness
The planting of the LORD (YHVH)
The He might be glorified

You shall build up the old waste places
Raise up the desolations
Repair the broken cities of many generations
(v6) You shall be called “The Priests of YHVH”
“Ministers to our God”
You'll eat the wealth of nations
And in their riches you will boast

Instead of shame you will have double
In your land — no more troubles
And your people will have twice as much
And their joy will be eternal

“For I, YHVH, love justice
I hate crime, evil intent
And I will faithfully reward them
With My Eternal Covenant

“You shall be known among the Gentiles
Your offspring among the nations
All who see you shall acknowledge
You're the seed YHVH has blessed."

For He has clothed me with the garments

To spring up before the nations

For as the soil makes the plants grow

So Adonai will make righteousness and praise
